Hi, I'm Howard Brande!

I am an award-winning filmmaker, writer, storyteller and cinephile born and bred in the Northeast but now calling Miami, Florida home. In addition to producing and directing I have worked as a 1st Assistant Director on independent shorts, features and commercials, Director of Photography on music videos and documentaries, hosted a podcast about filmmaking, taught high school film and have been a teaching assistant for the Miami Dade College Production Assistant training course. In the fall of 2024 I began working towards my Master of Fine Arts in Film at the New York Film Academy.
